Discipleship by the numbers

Our mission for youth & young adult outreach is to challenge young people to love God, love their neighbor, and make disciples.

GETTING IN THE DOOR

The first step is getting people in the door.  To date, over 120 middle school & high school students have attended a youth ministry meeting.  On average, our high school youth ministry has about 30 students weekly.

But, Youth Ministry stretches beyond weekly meetings.  Students also participate litirgucal ministries:  10 are student lectors, 3 are extraordinary ministers of holy communion, and 11 are altar servers.

Our students want to help others.  Opportunities like Camp Mercy & the Diocesan Mission Immokallee service trip, have afforded over 50 students to engage in community service; and this doesn’t include the handful of students that participated in our other activities like serving at All Faith’s Food Bank and Stillpoint House of Prayer during the year.

THE FUTURE IS EXCITING

Looking ahead, we are excited to improve our efforts!  This year, we will continue to place an emphasis on our small group ministry.  We believe that life change happens in the context of community - specifically being surrounded by a small group of friends who are on the same journey as you.

We are also redesigning our junior high ministry to better meet students and parents where they are at!  We will be focusing on more off-site activities, and meeting once a month.

DON’T FORGET YOUNG ADULTS

Our Young Adult community has been participating in weekly Trivia nights at Buffalo Wild Wings - and also participated in kickball & softball earlier in the year.  We have a core group of 12 young adults who are active - and always inviting friends.

Young adults don’t just want to eat together, we want to PRAY together.  So, we are excited to be hosting a bi-monthly Eucharistic Night of Worship for youth, young adults, and families.  Info can be found on the next page.

We are looking for a small group of Young Adults to help take our Young Adult community to the next level - if interested, contact Tom!

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

It really has been a fantastic year, and we wish to thank all the people who made it possible - especially the parents of students.  Without your support and commitment to bringing your children to these events, we wouldn’t have a ministry.

WANT TO HELP?

We are always looking for people to support our ministry - especially through PRAYER!  We also want to invite those who desire to work with students directly to find out more info.
